Steve

Looking forward to seeing FM tonight at The Diamond, Sutton in Ashfield. Dragging my wife %26 daughter along again. We all went to the Rock and Blues, a few weeks back, just to see FM.
We also saw you do a solo set at The Diamond a year or so ago.

Hope you enjoy the gig too.

Geoff

Hi, mr.Overland. I heard your work from the album Contagious while listen to AR FM radio. I have to admit it was a pleasant surprise. I've heard of your band, FM, but the Contagious sound was most notable for the high dose of blues on Doctor My Heart and the striking pace of Easy on Me. I became a fan of your work and already ordered a copy of your album. It's amazing to see that someone still does a job of this kind today. Your vocals are incredible and reminds me of the best of melodic rock and hard rock. Congratulations on your incredible career.

I discovered you years ago through Alan Parsons. His impeccable ability to choose the perfect voices for the already perfect songs have enriched my life (and my children's and now grandchildren's lives) with so much outstanding talent. I think my mouth dropped open when I first heard "Fall Free." I must have thought, "ANOTHER GREAT VOCALIST...where is he finding these gems?" I'm wayyyy across the pond in the US and had never heard of you or any of the bands you had been in (we are SERIOUSLY musically deprived in the States). So I proceeded to purchase much of your work: FM, The Ladder, Shadowman. Phenomenal voice. So glad FM is still performing. Maybe...if I live long enough...you just might tour the States. Fingers are crossed.

I am a huge Overland/FM fan and love the vocals, but wanted to mention that I love the Iron Maiden cover tune "Can I Play With Madness" that Steve has done...I like it better than the Original...Thank You for the great music.

Hello, I am desperately searching a tune from Steve Overland (in his name or one of his bands (FM, The Ladder, Shadowman) where he sings Oh Maria and repeats it several times in the song.
Anybody out there with an idea?
Thanks!
Cheers,
Pierre.

Hi Steve, Came to see you at Bingley and absolutely love it. Been a big fan since Wildlife. My good friend Stu Waterman from The Lettuceheads got me on the meet and greet list but I had to get back to Morecambe - 2 hours across country. Looking forward to the next time. Keep up the good work!
